"I go home"

A few months ago Alexandra would tell us "I go home" after picking her up from daycare. Then she started saying "I go home" when we are out and about, letting us know she is bored and wants to do something more exciting like dig in dirt. Now she is saying "I go home" when we are at home. Its usually when she has gotten in trouble. I think she thinks there is a better home out there where the mommy and daddy dont punish their child for throwing yogurt on the floor, or for telling them "No" when told to do something, or throwing a temper tantrum because she is not allowed to have paci. Lastnight she told Doug "I get jacket. I go home." Well at least she was smart enough to think about putting on a jacket so she doesnt catch a cold.

If she follows in my footsteps, she will be swearing she was adopted and wants her real family to save her. I used to write that in my diary when I was in elementary.
