Trip to Chicago...

Saturday Sept 12th I went to the Petsmart Adoption fair. I always enjoy going to these, looking at all the animals, wishing I could take everyone home. To my surprise I found two adorable brother kittens needing a home. I couldnt pass them up and adopted the little guys. They are approx. 10 weeks old, born around the 4th of July. They were already neutered, first set of kitten shots, dewormed, microchipped, treated for fleas and litter box trained. We decided to name them Maverick and Riggs. Top Gun and Leathal Weapon are two of our favorite movies. So far they have been pretty well behaved kittens. They of course have to be taught manners and learn the word no. The first couple of days they were some what scared of Lucifer but have now gotten use to him and play with him. He is very gentle with the kittens, always has been gentle with any kind of baby. Alexandra is still learning how to hold them correctly. She tends to pick them up by their heads so we are trying to teach her to hold them only when we are around.

10 Year Class Reunion

Saturday Sept 5th FC Class of 99 had their 10 year class reunion. Doug didnt attend his class reunion last year, but I definitely did not want to miss mine. It was at the Columbia Club downtown on the circle. I cant believe its already been ten years. Everyone has grown, married and started families. It was so nice to see old faces.
